Objetivos gerais

>> Utilizar adequadamente o vocabulário e as expressões mais comuns do Inglês Jurídico, proporcionando aos formandos os meios linguísticos que lhes permitirão debater temas jurídicos com clientes e contrapartes estrangeiros com confiança.

Programa

• Business Law: key vocabulary for company bylaws (Memorandum
of Association, Articles of Association, Shareholders Agreement), private limited company vs. public limited company, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, bilingual business law glossary
• Contract Law: key vocabulary for contracts, general structure of contracts, standard contract terms, some contract templates, bilingual contract law glossary
• Negotiations: useful phrases and tips for negotiations in English
• Correspondence in English with clients and counterparts: useful phrases and tips for first letter to client and counterpart, letter of reminder and communicating bad news
• Connectors: correctly applying Legal English connectors such as hereby, herein, therefore, conversely etc.
